This beetle pattern should be a staple in every angler's fly box.  Whether you fish larger freestone streams or technical spring creeks, this fly is deadly on tough fish.  Highly visible and incredibly buoyant, The Leroy Brown Beetle has fooled fish around the globe.  Works amazingly well as a searching pattern during warmer months, but don't be afraid to drift one through  a pod of finicky fish.  Hungry trout seldom pass up the opportunity to grab a nice, tasty beetle.
